What charities bring to WITS

People changes

“A volunteer or trustee has left”

Account access, passwords and shared files checked before knowledge disappears.

Access

“Everything depends on one shared inbox”

Access that relies on one volunteer, trustee or shared inbox made safer and easier to hand over.

Devices

“We’ve been given some laptops”

Donated or mixed devices set up consistently, with sensible access and backups.

How it works

From first contact to a clear fix

  1. Tell Harrison what’s wrong

Call, or send a short description in your own words. A technical diagnosis isn’t needed.

  2. Agree the route and cost

Harrison confirms whether remote or onsite help fits, and the likely cost, before paid work starts.

  3. Get it fixed or handed over

The work is done and the next step explained, or the right specialist route is suggested when it isn’t a WITS job.

Questions

Answers before you get in touch

Do charities get a discount?

Yes. Charity and community organisations pay £35 an hour remotely or £45 an hour onsite in Milton Keynes, and WITS seeks supplier nonprofit licensing where eligibility rules permit.

How is sensitive data handled?

With GDPR-aware handling of client, volunteer, trustee and organisational data, and practical documentation so access and knowledge can be handed over safely.

We rely on volunteers. Can you still help?

Yes. Support covers trustee, staff and volunteer access, and continuity planning for when someone leaves.

Not sure which service fits?

Call before you know which service you need. Explain what is happening in your own words and Harrison will confirm the right next step, and the cost, before any paid work.
